Happy New Year! Double Rainbow has been hard at work preparing for this moment.
Aside from great wealth and unapologetic fame, the band has a few things planned for 2012.
Firstly, we've just finished writing four new songs we are excited about. They are called Logic Attack, 85 Bears, Mr Rosenberg, and the name of the other will just have to be a surprise because it doesn't have one yet. We're hoping to record these four songs soon and release a 7" by the end of the year.
We will be going to Philly in late February (25th and 26th) for Two Piece Fest. After last year's untimely shutdown of the OX by police, we are looking forward to the possibility of playing more than a sound check this year!
And last but certainly not least, things might be starting to look like a Triple Rainbow! Don't tell the people at Two Piece Fest.

We've been busy using other parts of the internet recently, but it's time for an update!
Fuck the Internet is now available for digital download on Amazon, iTunes, and lots of other sites, but they have renamed it F**k the Internet which makes us say, "Fuck the Internet." Also, Fuck the Internet is still available through us directly from our music page on bandcamp for $6.66.
Tour went stellarly well with PT Burnem! We saw some sights we'd never seen and we met some good people with warm souls in cold places and we want to do it again. Read the Tour Blog. Thank You to Everyone who welcomed us into their homes, venues and lives for a day or two. We the tour are also excited to announce a last minute final show here in Richmond! Yes it's nearly a month late, but it's going to be awesome.
FRIDAY APRIL 8th at STRANGE MATTER, our paranormal punk friends from philly Erode and Disappear and our rainbow friendly friends from richmond ROY G BIV will join PT Burnem and Double Rainbow in a five-dollar evening event of great entertainment for those who seek it.

After much debate about whether or not our Double Rainbow should be on the internet at all, we decided to go there. Our name is already mildly famous, so why not a website with the deceiving air of legitimacy? A double website with the deceiving air of legitimacy! We are so happy to be on the internet again, and we invite you to please accompany us in our digital vehicle as it trundles its way home through time, love, and innovative upgrades. Welcome.
We do have some REAL NEWS.
Fuck the Internet. We have a CD coming out that we recorded this past December right here in Richmond, VA at Metro Sound with Allen Bergendahl. The CD is called Fuck the Internet. Digital download will be available March 1st on iTunes and we will also have physical copies on tour. Right now, you can listen to the songs on our music page.
Also, TOUR! We are stirring about and biting viciously at the very thought of what's to come on our impending adventure northwards with our friend P.T. Burnem come February. PT's got a twisted talent of mashing up poetically articulated knowledge and the mechanical bombardment of his MPC. He is a captain, not a seaman, and we do hope he will ride in the Captain's Chair from time to Time. Check out the shows and come check one out.
